Larvak-25 contains Diflubenzuron 25% WP is a new type of insecticide which interferes with the formation of chitin during the molting process of insect larvae.It is recommended to control mosquito larva under public health programme by Govt. of India. This formulation is very effective on clean as well as polluted water.

Usage : Larvak-25 is wettable powder. Mix the powder with water and spray in affected areas with High volume sprayers like Knapsack Sprayer.

Recommended Dose

Larvak-25 is very effective against mosquito larvae control. The recommended dosages are as below :

Clear Surface water : 150—250 gm / ha
Polluted Surface Water : 250—450 gm / ha
Sewage pits, Latrines, Septic Tanks : 5 mg / Liter(Water)

To control House flies, maggots in poultry manure Mix 15mg. Diflubenzuron 25% WP in 5 Liters water and spray over not more than 10 meter2 area. Repeat the same within 7-13 days.

Equipment : Larvak-25 can be applied by using garden sprayer in small areas and knapsack sprayer for wide applications.
